About the role
You will be responsible for delivering products to customers safely and efficiently while supporting the team with loading, order preparation and vehicle care. This role plays a key part in maintaining our high standards in safety, presentation and customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver orders safely and efficiently to customers across metro and regional routes
- Complete daily vehicle safety inspections and run sheets
- Assist with loading, strapping and preparing orders before departure
- Break down pallets and support warehouse operations when required
- Ensure deliveries are checked, invoices signed and payments handled correctly
- Follow fatigue management requirements and road rules at all times
- Maintain truck cleanliness, refuel daily and report any faults or incidents
- Support late or unexpected deliveries when required
- Comply with WHS, Chain of Responsibility and company policies
What we’re looking for
- Valid Medium Rigid (MR) truck licence
- Experience driving heavy vehicles and performing deliveries
- Strong knowledge of road rules and transport compliance
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work early starts and occasional out-of-hours shifts
- Police clearance (or willingness to obtain)
